Natural Disasters such as earthquake, typhoon, tsunami and many more, are something that we cannot prevent and it can cause severe damage to the environment. Unfortunately, some countries are facing these natural disaster and shortage of food. Everyone was struggling to survive and I had learned from the newspaper that some people even steal coffins that have dead bodies in it just to place their love ones that have passed away.Those people will never predict when these natural disasters will struck them ,when that happens,everything will be in a chaos as they did not have any preparations.One of the recent one is the Haiti's and Chile's earthquake. As many as 200000 people have been killed, dead bodies were left in the rubble of collapsed buildings and in the street. One million people were left homeless,in desperate need of foods and water.Unlike these countries, Singapore is so fortunate as we will not experience these natural disaster. Singapore is a small country surrounded by bigger countries as a "protection"When others are suffering, we were shaking our leg, enjoying ourselvers, carry on with our blissful life.We cannot do much to stop these natural disasters from happening but the least we can do is not to waste food, we can also donate money to help those who're in need. So, Singaporeans, please come to our sense and see the seriousness that natural disaster can cause.
