How does the way we speak tells us who we are,do you think singlish is good,why?Xing Yee

When we speak singlish,people know who we are and where we come from as we do not speak proper english. I think singlish is bad but it can differntiate us from the American and also the British by listening to how we speak as we carry a bit of Singapore sleign while we speak. However ,when the tourists from english countries come to Singapore, we normally speak english in order for them to understand as, although we speak singlish they can roughly understand what we are speaking .
