danial---how do we speak,about us,is singlish good?Why or Why not

the main language in singapore is English.We use English to communicate with each other and especially tourist because they might not understand our mother tongue languages.I as a singaporean, speak English too.In fact, it is one of my best subject in school.there is an advantage and disadvantage about speaking Singlish language.The advantage is very fun to use and more easier to understand.Now we are living in a modern world so speaking Singlish is what they call 'Bahasa Kampung' which means kampong language.Furthermore, tourist from other countries may not understand this language.Our government wants us to speak proper English so that we can represent singapore that our english is good as foreigners.However, english is difficult to learn.Singaporeans often mispronounce certain words.Example is 'opportunity'.
