A Memorable Experience- Zaki
During the first week of June holidays, I treated myself to a break.I went to the Science Centre for the Pixar exhibition and went cycling with my mom. I also went for squash with my parents and uncle. But the most memorable experience of all came during the weekend. I went to the Universal Studios Singapore on Saturday with my whole family. IT WAS BADASSLY AWESOME.Even though the Battlestar Galactica ride was down, we just had a shot. We're planning to go back anyway. When we arrived there, we were lucky. We bought our tickets online weeks ago and on that day, tickets were sold out. And so, we entered. AWESOME. It was undescribable. Everything was built so picturesquese. The buildings looked so real and you could see the influence in them. First, we started our day at the Revenge of the Mummy ride. I got nightmares. It was 'PSHHH' and "FWSOOO' and we were going backwards, downwards, flames popped out of nowhere, bugs and robots and they took our picture on the way. There was plenty of screaming. Then, after some browsing of the souvenir shop, we went to the raft ride in the dinosaur part. It was pretty predictable. I won't tell any details but just some more screaming and getting wet. Real wet. SO wet, we had to change clothes. So after we changed clothes, we went for this 'Pantage Monster Rock Musical' It featured all the different monsters singing. Awesome. Gay Phantom of the Opera, go! Then we had a treat to some real-life visual effects hosted by Steven Spielberg. Cool. Then we went to this Canopy Flyer. WE had to wait for an hour but it was worth it. It started out slow but we were having a heck of a time. We also wanted to go on another ride but the rides were closing soon, so we went for some dinner. We had dinner at this cool New York-ish pizza cafeteria and the food was great. We bought a couple of T-shirts and also this insanely great popcorn at this place next to the Hershey Chocolate World. It was a Chicago-ish gourmet popcorn thingy and there was a huge line. And so, our trip ended. Worth it? Eh..could be better if only they opened their crown jewel but it was okay.Plus, the World Cup was going on and Holland won every match. GO ORANJE! Just hope they at least go to the finals. And, I also went for the SST and NUS High DSA test. Really tough. Really hope I can just go to the waiting list. And so, I wrap up this blog post. Was it a memorable experience? Definitely. Rock on.
