Lim Wei Jun: Saving the rainforest

Do you know that the world's rain forests are currently disappearing at a rate of 6000 acres every hour (this is about 4000 football fields per hour). If we continue to cut down the rain forest, not only that animals will be homeless and even our earth's climate can be affected, as well as the water cycle. Burning of rain forests is very dangerous too as rain forests is important as it produce oxygen and clean the atmosphere to help us breathe.Do you also know that 1 paper equal to a tree that is being cut down so can you imagine how many trees that are being cut down by now? So lets play a part in reduce, reuse and recycle paper in order to save the rain forests. Remember not only paper also other things that can be recycle so as to keep our environment friendly! :)You see, by cutting down rainforests, so many things can be affects.
